BC Serdon organized and implemented a workshop on “Risk-Adjusted Premiums and Credit Ratings,” an initiative by the Deposit Insurance Fund (DIF) that took place on November 16, 2005. It gathered representatives from the local banking sector, as well as experts from the Bulgarian National Bank, Standard & Poor’s – London, the Deposit Guarantee Fund – France, and the United States Agency for International Development, to discuss and explore DIF’s current state and future role. The workshop turned out as a real success and surpassed even the most optimistic estimates regarding informational content and participant interest.
