Steel Housewares Research and Matchmaking

BC Serdon has conducted two extensive market research projects for Brazilian clients. During the summer of 2006 a market research and business matchmaking project for A.B.I.T.A.C. (The Brazilian Industry Association for Cutlery, Housewares, Hospitalar, Utensils and Similars—an export group of 14 manufacturers of stainless steel housewares) required thorough market research and analysis of the stainless steel housewares sector in Bulgaria and Poland, as well as the organization of two weeks of matchmaking meetings with potential partners in both countries. Importers were identified in both countries and these potential partners were subsequently invited to Brazil to continue negotiations. The second research project took place during the summer of 2007. The objective was to provide representatives from 34 Brazilian agricultural and agro-machinery manufacturers with in-depth market research regarding the potential for their products on the Polish market. Our team prepared the market report with the support of a Polish consulting company, which provided the necessary raw data.
