Green Activities plan

BC Serdon is becoming more and more aware of the impact that small details can have on the environment. With that in mind we prepared a group of measures to be implemented so our office can become greener. We inspired ourselves on the five R’s used in Ecology – Reduce, Re-use, Recycle, Refuse and Re-think. To materialize these ideas and achieve our goals, we scheduled some, as we call, “Green Activities”, which are presented below.

• Electric energy saving – having monitors and computers turned on only when working, as well as using low-energy consumption devices (led lamps)

• Reutilization of paper and rechargement of printer cartridges

• Preference for recycled and recyclable materials, as well as improvement on the existent separation of used materials

It is also planned that BC Serdon will participate on AmCham’s Green Office activities which include an evaluation of the environmentally friendly actions on the company, encounters between the participants, exhibition and promotion of friendly policies and services, etc.
