In the end of November 2008, RCI – Regional Competitiveness Initiative Project organized the 4th Regional Agribusiness Meeting in Belgrade, Serbia. Since BC Serdon is the Balkan regional coordinator for this USAid project, the members of our team responsible for this project, Radost Dacheva and Pavlin Delchev, were present in the event.
These workshops are part of one of the main area where RCI works – Agribusiness.
The meeting covered topics about Agricultural market Information Systems and data sharing ways, EU Accession Funds, Project Development, and Quality Standards (GLOBALGAP, HACCP, ISO 22000). This event attracted representatives from all regional agribusiness projects in the SEE region as well as USAID Washington representatives.
At the last day of our stay, we visited the ETNO FOOD FAIR in Belgrade – USAID Serbia event that was aimed to present local traditional products to the international public. Serdon team had the opportunity to meet with local producers and companies.
